Apr\u00e8s vous avoir emmen\u00e9 dans un h\u00f4tel \u00e9toil\u00e9 \u00e0 Dublin<\/a> et dans un h\u00f4tel fort charmant \u00e0 Lyon<\/a>, on vous invite \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir dans quel restaurant gastronomique de Montpellier on a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9galer nos papilles cet \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

On s\u2019est muni de notre coffret cadeau Tables de Chefs et on est partis en direction du Sud, de Montpellier plus exactement, pour passer une soir\u00e9e fort agr\u00e9able en terrasse dans l\u2019un des bons restaurants que compte la ville et qui r\u00e9pond au doux nom du Grand Arbre.<\/p>\n

Avis aux gourmands !<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Une agr\u00e9able soir\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 la terrasse d\u2019un restaurant gastronomique \u00e0 Montpellier : <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Pour rejoindre le restaurant, on quitte le centre de Montpellier pour se diriger vers l\u2019Ouest de la ville. Quelques minutes apr\u00e8s on se retrouve dans un havre de verdure avec un superbe platane centenaire en guise d\u2019accueil. Nous comprenons tout de suite pourquoi ce restaurant montpelli\u00e9rain a choisi de s\u2019appeler Le Grand Arbre.<\/p>\n

Une fois install\u00e9s sur la terrasse qui est des plus agr\u00e9ables, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son d\u00e9cor soign\u00e9 fait de mat\u00e9riaux nobles et \u00e9l\u00e9gants (beaucoup de fer forg\u00e9, on adore !), nous d\u00e9couvrons que le Chef du restaurant propose \u00e0 ses convives de lui laisser carte blanche et de se laisser surprendre avec un menu \u00ab Confiance \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Etre surpris avec de d\u00e9licieux mets, on ne demande pas mieux !<\/p>\n

Pour que le Chef puisse nous r\u00e9galer tout en nous surprenant, nous avons seulement deux choix \u00e0 faire : un menu Terre ou Mer (pour les entr\u00e9s et les plats) puis Chocolat ou Fruit (pour les desserts).<\/p>\n

Deux choix \u00e0 faire puis on se laisse porter. Mieux, on se laisse surprendre. C\u2019est le concept parfait pour ceux qui ont toujours du mal \u00e0 se d\u00e9cider au moment de passer commande \u00e0 chaque sortie au restaurant. On appr\u00e9cie l\u2019initiative et on attend nos plats avec impatience.<\/p>\n

Lorsque les entr\u00e9es arrivent c\u2019est un peu comme si on nous emmenait un cadeau, on a qu\u2019une envie, celle de d\u00e9couvrir ce qui se cache derri\u00e8re cette surprise !<\/p>\n

Pour le menu Mer, les hostilit\u00e9s commencent avec une entr\u00e9e 100% saumon. Carpaccio de saumon fum\u00e9, tempura de saumon et gravlax de saumon, un vrai bonheur ! Une entr\u00e9e r\u00e9ussie qui permet de d\u00e9guster diverses d\u00e9clinaisons de saumon afin d\u2019appr\u00e9cier les saveurs et textures du poisson pr\u00e9par\u00e9 de diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res.<\/p>\n

Pour l\u2019entr\u00e9e Terre, le Chef a \u00e9t\u00e9 puiser dans ce qu\u2019il se fait de mieux en mati\u00e8re de mets du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la Terre, puisqu\u2019il propose un burger de foie gras avec une g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse tranche de foie gras d\u00e9licatement d\u00e9pos\u00e9e entre deux pains de burger tendres et croustillants \u00e0 la fois. L\u00e0 aussi on valide !<\/p>\n

Pour le plat on choisit \u00e9galement de panacher, ce sera donc un plat Terre et un plat Mer pour pouvoir go\u00fbter aux deux.<\/p>\n

Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la Mer on a le plaisir de d\u00e9couvrir qu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui le Chef a eu la tr\u00e8s bonne id\u00e9e de pr\u00e9parer de la lotte avec une sauce au parmesan qu\u2019il nous pr\u00e9sente sur un risotto au riz de Camargue. Un trio parfait !<\/p>\n

Pour le plat du menu Terre c\u2019est un filet de veau tendre \u00e0 souhait qui nous est servi accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019une pissaladi\u00e8re. On appr\u00e9cie la cuisson parfaite du veau qui lui conf\u00e8re une belle couleur \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur et une viande tr\u00e8s tendre \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Quant \u00e0 la pissaladi\u00e8re, ses notes relev\u00e9es accompagnent id\u00e9alement le go\u00fbt d\u00e9licat du veau. Voil\u00e0 encore un plat fort r\u00e9ussi.<\/p>\n

On finit le repas en beaut\u00e9 avec deux desserts diff\u00e9rents : l\u2019un \u00e0 base de cerise, l\u2019autre tout chocolat.<\/p>\n

Puisque l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 est la saison de la cerise, on est ravis de voir que le Chef en a profit\u00e9 pour la mettre \u00e0 l\u2019honneur. Nous avons donc droit \u00e0 un dessert o\u00f9 la cerise est omnipr\u00e9sente, dans sa forme la plus simple mais aussi en glace et en coulis.<\/p>\n

Pour le dessert Chocolat, c\u2019est une d\u00e9licieuse mousse au chocolat blanc qui fait fr\u00e9tiller nos papilles. Recouverte d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse couche d\u2019un chocolat noir croquant, il n\u2019en fallait pas moins pour nous faire fondre, c\u2019est un vrai r\u00e9gal !<\/p>\n

\"\"C\u2019est ainsi que le repas se termine, sur cette note douce et gourmande. On commande tout de m\u00eame un caf\u00e9 pour profiter un peu plus longtemps de cette terrasse sur laquelle on se sent vraiment bien.<\/p>\n

Produits de qualit\u00e9, mets raffin\u00e9s, d\u00e9coration soign\u00e9e et serveurs aux petits soins, \u2026 Vous l\u2019aurez certainement compris, c\u2019est un restaurant de Montpellier que l\u2019on vous recommande vivement !<\/p>\n
