  • What is Smartbox™?


  • Smartbox™ is a gift package containing the following:
    • An illustrated guidebook detailing the packages the service partners offer across the United States. Once you select your activity, all the necessary information to make your reservation with the chosen partner is included in the guidebook.
    • A gift card redeemable at one of the service providers that is included in the guidebook. Retail price is not included on the gift card, making it ideal for gifts.
    • A "Thank You" postcard to send to the person from whom you received your Smartbox™.

  • What do I use Smartbox™ for?


  • You can offer a Smartbox™ as a gift, or buy one for yourself. Choose from themes such as adventure, spas or hotels. The recipient chooses an activity with one of the service providers included in the illustrated guide. The recipient then makes a reservation directly with the partner, with the contact information provided in the guide, and redeems the gift card on the day of the reservation.

  • Is there an expiration date on the gift card?


  • No. Your Smartbox gift card does not expire.

  • What days can I redeem my Smartbox™ gift card?


  • You can redeem your Smartbox™ gift card any day of the week, including weekends, pending availability and the service partners' terms and conditions.

  • Are there any blackout dates?


  • There are no blackout dates. Smartbox™ gift cards are redeemable all year long (until the date of expiration). It can be redeemed on weekdays and weekends, pending availability, according to the days and hours of operation listed on the service providers' terms and conditions.

  • How many packages can I choose from?


  • Smartbox® selects and provides you with the highest quality partners and activities. You have a choice of one experience per gift card from 40 to 125 different packages, depending on the Smartbox™.You will find on each Smartbox™:
    • 125 activities within the Northeast Serenity Smartbox™
    • 60 activities within the California Serenity Smartbox™
    • 105 activities within the Northeast Adventure Smartbox™
    • 55 activities within the California Adventure Smartbox™
    • 110 activities within the Northeast Adrenaline Smartbox™
    • 70 activities within the California Adrenaline Smartbox™
    • 50 establishments within the Charming Getaway Smartbox™
    • 40 establishments within the Gourmet Retreats Smartbox™

  • Are there any additional fees?


  • Each Smartbox™ provides details of each activity and what is included in your package. All applicable taxes are included. The gift card does not offer transportation or any extra costs not mentioned in the guide. Should you choose to have additional activities and/or services not mentioned in the guide, this is at an extra cost to you that cannot be redeemed with the Smartbox™ gift card.

  • Are there any special terms and/or conditions required in order to take part in the activities included in the Smartbox™?



  • In most cases, there are no special terms and/or conditions required to complete an activity. However, we recommend you ask the service partner when you are booking your reservation. Depending on the activity, you may be asked to bring certain items with you (ex. swimsuit, windbreaker, running shoes, etc.). You could also be required to provide personal information for your benefit and safety (ex. age, height, weight, medical conditions, etc.). A medical certificate may be required depending on the terms and/or conditions of the service provider and the activity. A valid driver's license will be required for all activities involving operation of a vehicle as specified by the service providers' terms and conditions.

  • Are there spa services for men in the Serenity Smartbox™?


  • Yes, all packages in the Serenity Smartbox™ are available for both men and women unless specified otherwise.

  • Can I bring friends and family to enjoy the activity or getaway with Smartbox™?


  • The number of people per package is well outlined under the description section. For one night stay packages, certain establishments will allow children. However, there may be an extra costs per person staying in the room. We recommend that you inquire about all questions concerning extra persons, security, pets and additional fees for extra services not included in the Smartbox™ package at the time of booking your reservation.

  • Is it possible to have a two consecutive night stay at the same hotel with two identical Smartbox™?


  • You may be able to redeem two identical Smartbox™ with one partner for a two consecutive night stay. We recommend you consult with the service partner at the time of booking your reservation.

  • How long does it take to have a Smartbox™ delivered to me?


  • Once your order is place and payment has been accepted, you have a choice between standard or expedited shipping. Standard shipping is approximately 5 to 7 business days and expedited shipping is 1 to 2 business days. Please note that we currently only ship within United States.   • Can you deliver a Smartbox™ directly to whom I would like to give it to?


  • Yes we can. Upon completion of your order, if you would like delivery of the Smartbox™ to be at a different location from the billing address, you must fill out the "Shipping Address" section online, or provide our customer service with the delivery address when placing the order.

  • I have made a reservation with a service partner to redeem my Smartbox™ gift card, but I have another engagement. What should I do?



  • Contact the service provider you have made a reservation with as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. We recommend you call as soon as you realize you have a conflict in dates in order to avoid any penalties. Cancellation policies and any additional fees are applicable and depend on each service proiders' terms and conditions. We recommend you inquire about the service providers' terms and conditions at the time of booking.

  • Do I have insurance coverage when I participate in the activities listed in the guide?


  • Most often our service partners include insurance with the activity. However, it is the clients' responsibility to verify if the establishment covers insurance, as well as to be informed of all risks involved with the activity, especially with extreme sports. Some activities may require you to purchase insurance.
